St. David Cienega
...a rare wetland in southeastern Arizona

The Saint David Cienega provides a snapshot of what many stretches of the San Pedro River were like 150 years ago.  In 2016 the Bureau of Land Management determined that, without assistance, this special 100+ acres of rare flora and diverse fauna would “transition into dry-land habitat”.
